Alta Technical Recruiting Services - Livonia, MI - Position Responsibilities include: Representing Purchasing and SDE in the cross-functional project teams and support the project with all Purchasing related topics Communication interface between Program Management and Engineering to Purchasing and SDE to involve them in the program Support the profitability of new projects by achieving best component prices and tool costs of purchased parts in line with or better as the project cost requirements Represent Purchasing in the CQR process and ensure consideration of best component and tooling costs. Support Commodity Management in resource activities and VAVE activities Responsible for business case input being optimized prior to RFQ. This includes costed BOM and tooling cost. Work closely with Engineering and AME Product Experts to optimize the product design, supply base and mfg. concept prior to RFQ.
