Details: Quality Manager Our client, a Global Tier 1 Automotive Company with 30 locations WW and 8 locations in North America, has an opening for a Quality Manager . The location of this plant is within 30 minutes of some of the most desirable, award-winning schools in the Southeast! The Key to Success in this Quality Manager position is Customer Knowledge and Relationship Building experience in the Automotive Industry. This plant does not have significant Quality Problems, but when problems arise, they need a strong leader, with quick response who will comply to TS 16949 and maintain excellent relationships with all the big Automotive customers. The Quality Manager will be responsible for developing or improveing TS 16949 Qualty Systems and Procedures for the GA plant, will supervise Quality staff, and provide leadership for the Quality function, to ensure quality of products and customer service. Responsibilities: Strengthens the Automotive Quality System and encourages all employees to embrace and achieve quality through a systems approach Supervision of two Quality Engineers and 6 technicians Develops and maintains tracking and publication systems Provides Quality and Corrective Action leadership to the organization Creates and manages system for non-conformance issues, including implementing corrective actions and process improvements, Lean and Six Sigma knowledge desired Develop and/or improve metrics reporting systems to ensure that products meet customer expectations and that internal processes are capable of meeting these expectations
